Elisa Carrillo Cabrera Foundation has offered to public another edition of high-level international cultural events,
The International Dance Festival - Danzatlán 11th -18th July 2023 in Mexican Texcoco, Toluca and Puebla.

The sixth edition was presented by 26 artistic and academic activities for young students like:
folkloric, urban, classical, neoclassical and contemporary dance. Workshops, mass classes, as well as a film series. The Cineteca Mexiquense, which was included in the debut in Mexico of Prima, a documentary that the Russian director Veronika Pokoptseva made about Elisa Carrillo.
In Texcoco and Toluca, public were vitnessing flashmobs -massive and surprising artistic actions-, in addition to the exhibition "Art and Movement", by Carlos Quezada, a Mexican photographer who has achieved international renown for his specialization in dance and his work for international large companies.

The program has been performed by nine classical dance stars: Yolanda Correa Frias, from the Norwegian National Ballet, Michal Krcmar, from the Finnish National Ballet; Alina Nanu and Paul Irmatov, from the Czech National Ballet; Maria Iakovleva, from the Hungarian National Ballet; Jakob Feyferlik, from the Dutch National Ballet; Alexei Orlenco, from Staatsballet Berlin , Mikhail Kaniskin and Elisa Carrillo, from the Berlin State Ballet.
The performances were taken place on July 15 at Teatro Morelos, 16th July in Toluca at Centro Cultural Mexiquense Bicentenario in Texcoco and 18th of July in Auditorio Metropolitano in Puebla.
The Centro Cultural Mexiquense Bicentenario, in Texcoco, had different activities, such as a performance by the National Dance Company and the Dance Company of the State of Mexico, which was performed...
Primero Sueño, inspired by the homonymous poem by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, and Dear Ofelia, by Paulina del Carmen and Roberto Mosqueda.

For its part, the Delfos Danza Contemporánea company, founded by the choreographers and dancers Víctor Manuel Ruiz and Claudia Lavista, presented the work Minimal, a current vision of the Dance of the Deer, from Sinaloa; while on July 15 the Compañía Mexiquense de Danzas Regionales did a tour of various dances from the center and north of the country, from pre-Hispanic times to the viceroyalty of New Spain.
The next day, ballroom dance teachers Olga Serrano, Amado Loaria, Félix Rentería and Marcela Scheufler gave a massive danzón class, a Cuban genre that arrived in Mexico 144 years ago.
